I look for patterns in nature wherever I go. I search and can find intricate feathered details in moss, lichen rings on gravestones, scum patterns on top of a water butt, rust on a railway fence, algae on a windowsill. Wherever I am I find patterns. A magnifying eye loupe is handy to check details 10 times the size and provides an endless source of inspiration for creativity.

Creativity is my go-to resource for keeping well – working on something new each day gives me purpose and a sense of satisfaction. Creative endeavours can always be shared with others, setting off a wider dialogue and expanding my circle of friends.
